It is free Software that allow to join gameservers from within a normal Website as a simple link.
We did that tool, to provide an easy comftable way for people to join the
servers on the ladder.
How mutch does it cost
It's a freeware program. So you can use it for free. See licence details in the ini file comming with GSJoin.
Where do I get that software from and how can I install that software
You can download it
here from LeetGamer.
On the first run it will install itself. After that you can already join the servers by using links in the website.
How does it work
All what the program need is a link on a website as you also do links normally.
Where you put http as protocol in a link normally like
http://www.leetgamer.no you would now use the registered gsjoin protocol with a link like gsjoin://cod@62.40.7.145:11111
How does such a link look like
Its gsjoin://game name in ini file[: password for joining]@server ip/dns:server port
What games are supported
It should work fine with any game. There are some presets in every version - in the esjoin.ini.

Known Problems/Limits
- It don't work in opera, as they dont check for registered protocols in windows (last checked with 6.0).
- The autoupdate function don't work in Win98. To update it download the zip file again and override the old ESJoin.exe or download the update with the program. Override the files you see coming with the update package you download.
- I heard there is an update but I don't see it?
ESJoin only check every 5 usage if there is an update. So start it 5 times and it will surly check for updates available.
